I Updated My iPhone 6 to iOS 9.3

When I first started using Straight Talk Wireless a few years ago you never knew what type of problems you might have after an iOS update. Back then getting your APN set up for cellular data and MMS picture messages was tricky and took a few workarounds.

A lot of readers started checking smartphonematters.com to see if other people had problems with an iOS update before installing it themselves. I decided to update my phone and write an article about any problems I had with it working with Straight Talk.

Apple released iOS 9.3 so I decided to update today. As usual, I first made sure I can send and receive MMS picture messages and measured my cellular data speeds using Speed Test before updating. After the update I did the same to make sure that my Straight Talk cellular data worked and hadn’t gotten unbearable slow and I could still send and receive picture messages.

Today I updated my iPhone 6 to iOS 9.3. My Straight Talk Wireless data still works. The speeds are normal. I can still send and receive MMS picture messages. I use Straight Talk’s AT&T network. So far, no problems.

Does anyone out there still check smartphonematters.com for these iOS update articles? Let me know. So what about you? Did you update? or are you going to wait to make sure there aren’t any problems with Straight Talk or the iOS update in general?
