Straight Talk Wireless APN Profiles

Use these APN Profiles to set up your Straight Talk Wireless Cellular Data APN. These APN profiles are only for use with the Apple iPhone. Do not try to install them on any other brand smartphone.

Unfortunately these APN profiles can only set up the APN for cellular data or internet. They do not have the MMS APN settings information so they will not fix MMS picture messaging or group text messages.

There are a number of articles on smartphonematters about setting your iPhone’s Straight Talk APN. See

Setting up Straight Talk Wireless APN for Cellular Data, Internet, MMS Picture Messages on Your iPhone Using iOS 8

How to Setup Straight Talk Wireless Data and MMS for your iPhone running iOS 6

To use these APN profiles, load this page in the Safari web browse on your iPhone and click the button for your APN or Straight Talk network.

Ok so I have an iPhone 6 I got from an old buddy of mine and it’s locked onto Verizon, last time when I got a new phone I just popped the sim into it, when I pop the sim into the 6, I’m able to send mms/sms and receive it but my phone says no service and I have no service. Does anyone know how to fix this?

All iPhone models from the iPhone 5 onward are unlocked. They will work with Straight Talk’s AT&T or T-Mobile network. You may have an issue using it on Straight Talk’s Verizon network if Verizon marked it bad for non payment.

Other than that, try a a reset Resetting All Your iPhone’s Settings

      Hi
Sorry, I can’t be of much help. I don’t know if you aren’t getting 4G because you are using R SIM or because your iPhone 5 doesn’t support 4G LTE on Straight Talk’s GSM network. My guess is its the phone, not R SIM.

If your phone shows a 3G, you may actually be getting 4G HSPA. With Straight Talk, your iPhone will only show 3G or LTE, never 4G
