Summary
In this video, I show you how to cut your SIM to make a larger SIM into a smaller SIM. If your SIM is too big to fit in your phone, you can make it fit by cutting your SIM.
I demonstrate:
- How to use two different SIM cutters
- how to cut a standard SIM to a micro SIM to use in a Google Nexus 5
- how to cut a micro SIM to a nano SIM for the iPhone 5s
- how to use a different model SIM cutter to cut a standard SIM to a nano SIM for the iPhone 5s
Products
You can buy a Noosy SIM cutter like the one I use in the video on Amazon. My SIM cutter was a first generation model, the second generation model. I paid over $20 for mine, the second generation model is selling for $13.
I like this model because:
- it can cut a standard SIMs to micro SIM
- it can cut a micro SIM to a nano SIM (you make two cuts to go from standard SIM to micro SIM
- the cutter is sturdy and well made compared to other cutters I have used.
If you don’t want to spend $13 on a SIM cutter, you buy this nano SIM cutter for only $3. This model isn’t as nice as the Noosy. It only cuts to the nano SIM size. If you need a micro SIM, cut your standard SIM to a nano SIM and use the included nano SIM to micro SIM adapter.
