Does My Straight Talk Plan Really Have Unlimited Data?

I swear to you im on the straight talk $55 “unlimited plan” that NEVER said anything about data caps and they cut me off at 200gb. When I txted the 611611 number for help they said “you are at your high speed data limit” i dont believe this. $100 phone and a $55 plan advertising complete lies. 200gb is 200gb not unlimited. It even says “usage: 200gb, account: unlimited”. I want to punch something

This is unfortunately a reality in the cellular business. The burden is left of the consumer to research and understand the true terms and conditions for cellular plans.
Straight Talk reserves the right to review your data usage after 60GB of usage. Says that when you pick the $55 plan. Not that that would be clear to many people.
The TCOS also says:
“If we determine, in our sole discretion, that you are using your Service in violation of these Terms and Conditions or in any other manner that we deem to be unreasonable or excessive, we may interrupt, suspend, cancel, or terminate your Service.”

Depending on your needs a Visible, Verizon Wireless Prepaid, or perhaps a T-Mobile post paid plan would be a better option for you. If you require unlimited data for mobile hotspot it gets a bit tricker because there are always some sort of restrictions for that.
