1. Verify Your Phone Works With The Program

Straight Talk uses the Zip code to make sure they have Verizon service in that area so use the Zip Code for the area you use your phone most. Straight Talk checks your phone’s IMEI/MEID/ESN to make sure Verizon will let them register your phone on the network if Verizon service is available in your area. Not all phone’s can be registered on the network and you need to know the exact IMEI from your specific phone. Your phone’s IMEI is a long number make sure you entered it carefully into the website. If the website tells you your phone is not compatible or returns an error, check again. Sometimes the website has problems. If your phone is compatible, stop at this point. Rather than follow the rest of the steps on the Straight Talk website right now. I recommend you order your Kit from the web site and then sign up after it arrives.
