Thanks Bob. I just ordered the iphone 7 from TacFone tonight. Final cost was $ 214.47. The BFCW30 promo worked and saved a whole bunch. One caveat though was I had to purchase a service plan in order to purchase the phone. I spent almost an hour ordering it online while chatting with a TracFon agent named Joseph. I gotta tell you, it’s difficult communicating with computer tech people. They must assume this stuff is all common knowledge. I’d like to see him change a flat tire. I asked, and was very adamant about not purchasing a plan with this phone as I already have a 90 day auto refill plan. He assured me that the 30 day required plan to purchase the phone would be added to my plan as a one time purchase and that the 90 day plan would not be cancelled. I did not get any of this in writing and I’m not convinced this will actually happen this way but I will find out soon enough. I saved a copy of my chat session and if this doesn’t happen the way he explained then they will be hearing from me. Hoping for no issues. Thanks again for all your knowledge. If I have issues with this purchase I will be sure to let you know so you can add it to your knowledge base about the dealings with TracFone.
    Happy Holidays.

Ok Bob. This makes me feel better about the iphone 7. I was just chatting with a Tracfone agent and they informed me it does work on the voLTE network. I was just worried when I saw the listing stating CDMA band frequency tht that was all it supported. That’s all it states. So what on a phone determines what network it uses? It must be a physical hardware piece, computer chip, right? Sorry, I’m just an average old dude with technology being forced upon me. Not happy about it either. LOL!

    Hi again Bob.
That update link only brings me to this page that I’m replying to you on. The title of the topic is
” Tracfone Deals and Promotions for November 2019″

There is a link within this topic for the iphone 7 which does not work for me. It gives me an error of 403 forbidden.
I did find the iphone 7 on Tracfone’s website. It is $274.99 before applying any promo codes.
it’s listed as ( iPhone 7 Rose Gold 32GB ) I hope this is not the one you are refering to as it states in the specifications ( BAND (FREQUENCY) CDMA EV-DO Rev. A (800, 1900, 2100 MHz) )
I don’t think this will work for me. Remember that CDMA is the whole problem. Why would Tracfone even offer this model if they are abandoning CDMA?

Here is the link to what I found below.

      Hey Richard,
The reason that some phones need to be replaced is that they do not support VoLTE (Voice Over LTE), not because they support CDMA. The iPhone 7 will work fine. Even the latest iPhone 11 models all support CDMA.

I linked you to this page because I publish the promo codes here. Last I checked the BFCW30 code was still working.
