You could be the kit in Walmart, but they are charging you for the additional SIM cards, and you are paying for a service plan card you may not need. Below is a better option.

If you want to transfer your current Straight Talk number as service to a T-Mobile phone here is what you need to to.

Order a Straight Talk T-Mobile SIM card from directly from Straight Talk. It costs $1. Visit straighttalk.com, if you don’t already have an online account create one.
After you have created your account choose the option to Activate a phone. Complete the activation steps. At some point, you’ll be asked if you want to keep your number or get a new phone. Choose the option to keep your number. Straight Talk will transfer your number and balance to the new SIM card.

Keep in mind, that your new phone will know be using the T-Mobile towers. If you bought your current phone from Straight Talk, it’s likely using the Verizon towers. Your T-Mobile phone may also be compatible with the Straight Talk’s Verizon towers and / or the AT&T towers. If the t-mobile phone is unlocked and compatible you could choose a SIM card for Straight Talk AT&T or Straight Talk Verizon.
