A reader, LeAnn, asks…
I was wondering if there is anything I can do I have a studio blu model C746440225T and I bought a $30 30 day plan and it says it isn’t compatible with my phone is there anything I can do to keep from losing my $30
Hi Leann,
You didn’t share a lot of details, so I’ll have to make some assumptions. First, C746440225T, is a model number for the phone’s battery. I’ll assume you have a BLU Studio 5.5 D610. But honestly, as long as it’s BLU “a” model and not an “i” model you should be ok.
I’m also not sure what you mean by the $30 30 day plan. Did you buy a card in the store? Was it a “500
Minutes for $30” card?
Next it order to activate your BLU you’d need a SIM card for either Net10’s ATT or Net10’s TMobile network. Your phone will work with either network, so you’d choose the network that has he best coverage where you live, work, or use your phone most. If your not sure which is better, ask your family and friends what they use.
Now it’s possible that you tried to activate a SIM for your phone with this this card and it said you couldn’t. The website isn’t really clear about whether or not you can use a this $30 with their BYOP SIM card. Is that the the part where you got stuck?
Also, if you are using some other plan or card, let me know and maybe I can help you.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace, using the Straight talk plan. My daughter sent me her used Samsung Galaxy S111 Trac phone. Can I switch my Ace to the Galaxy S111, using the Straight talk plan; keeping my old phone number and data? She had been using the Net 10, but wasn’t totally satisfied with it. Thanks.
What is the model number of the s3? You may be able to use it. Do you know which straight talk network you are using? Verizon, Att, tmo or sprint?
